A boutique structural firm, run by people who still pour the concrete.
Skyrise Structural has been on Orange County’s coast since 2014, building foundations, framing custom homes, and structuring the roofs that close them in. Six to eight projects a year. The same senior team on every site.
Origin
Skyrise was founded on a simple premise: the most consequential parts of a luxury home are the parts no one ever sees.
Foundation, framing, and roofing carry the entire structural story of a residence — soils report through final inspection — and they’re also the work most often sub-contracted out to whichever crew is cheapest that quarter. Skyrise was built to do those three things at the standard a custom OC home deserves, and to do them under one roof, with senior leadership on every job.
We work Orange County exclusively — Coto de Caza to Dana Point — because the coast has a structural language that takes years to learn. Marine humidity, hillside grades, fault-line setbacks, and the AHJ inspectors who watch them. We’d rather know this market well than half-know five of them.
A short history
Twelve years on the same coast.
The same trades, the same team, the same coast — refined into a single structural standard, project after project.
- 2014
Founded in Orange County
Started with a single residential foundation project on a hillside Laguna lot.
- 2017
Three trades, one team
Framing and roof structure brought fully in-house. No more structural subs.
- 2020
Boutique intake model
Capped at six to eight projects per year to protect senior attention on every active site.
- 2024
Coastal grade as core
Majority of work now on coastal and hillside lots — Newport Coast to Three Arch Bay.

The team
Senior leadership on every site.
Skyrise is run by the same senior team that’s been on OC coastal projects since 2014. We came up through the field — foundations, framing crews, roof structures — across Southern California, most of it on the coast.
One rule has stayed constant across every project: the inspector doesn’t care how good your trades say they are — the inspector cares what the record shows. Skyrise is built around that record.
We’re on every active site weekly, we sign off every structural close-out personally, and we review every intake ourselves. The firm stays small on purpose so that doesn’t change as we grow.

Principles
Four rules we won’t bend.
- 01
Specialty over scope
We do three things — foundation, framing, roofing. Nothing else. Specialty discipline is what produces engineering-grade work.
- 02
Senior team on every site
Senior leadership is on every active site, every active week. No project is too small to receive the same attention as the largest one.
- 03
Inspection-grade documentation
Every pour ticket, stressing log, and shear schedule lands in the project file before the next stage begins. The record is the record.
- 04
Limited intake by design
Six to eight projects a year. Capacity is constrained on purpose — schedule integrity and senior attention outrank top-line growth.
